The new St. Cloud Tech High School site is bounded on two sides by a designated trout stream, has 20’ of relief within the site, a natural spring that feeds the stream, and a wetland buffer. The site features create an opportunity for a serene high school campus setting with environmental learning opportunities. Developing this site while protecting the resources that make it special will require a variety of temporary and permanent erosion control/stormwater techniques. Sign up for the morning or afternoon MECA field seminar and join us for lunch that will include the following discussions: Design Concepts, Natural Resource Protection, Outdoor Environmental Learning Opportunities, Best Management Practices Scenarios & Vendor Product Applications.
