There will be a Blend Fit Kids Club Series 1K trail/run/walk event for your family to complete any time from 10:00-3:00pm. Registration will only be at the day′s event. No cost to register.
Grab your blankets, sit down and enjoy a presentation by RAD Zoo. Using live reptiles and amphibians. RAD Zoo is home to over 150 kinds of animals from all over the world exhibited in naturalistic recreations of their native environments. Participants will view the amazing creatures of the reptile and amphibian world. This is a presentation you will not want to miss!
Presentations at 11:30am and 1:00pm.
Paddle the Mighty Mississippi
Never been on the Mississippi River? Don’t own a canoe? No problem, join Wilderness Inquiry for a 5.5 mile paddle down one of the most scenic stretches of the Mississippi River in Central MN. Trip takes about 3 hrs; only two of those hours are actually on the water. Registration is only accepted on the day of the event. Must register prior to departure, so register early. Departure time will be @ 12:00 PM.
The Stearns County Soil and Water Conservation District in partnership with Stearns County Parks, MN Department of Natural Resources, local sportsmen's clubs and many more local partners are hosting this day of family fun, where participants can get hands-on instruction in a variety of outdoor activities.
