Stearns County Lakeshed Project


The lakeshed project is an effort to compile existing data in order to investigate area lakes and their surrounding watersheds to identify new opportunities for water quality improvement.  This is an action item of the Stearns County Comprehensive Local Water Plan which includes the goal of protecting and improving the quality of surface water in the county. 


The following lakes have data available:

Long

Lower Spunk

Maria

Middle Spunk

North Browns

Pearl

Pelican

Pine

Sand 

Sauk River Chain of Lakes
